Today, the company announced two senior leadership appointments that signal its next chapter of growth: Nakia J. White as Chief of Strategic Communications & Outreach and Dr. William (Bill) Goff as Chief Financial Officer.

White is a veteran global communications strategist who has led crisis communications reaching more than 55 million people and managed reputation and public affairs across AI, Web3, and social impact sectors. At Counter, she will lead brand narrative, demand generation, and institutional partnerships with organizations including state labor agencies, United Way/211, the Urban League, and disability advocacy groups, building the connective tissue between Counter’s platform and the communities that need it most.

Dr. Goff brings more than 20 years of experience in quantitative finance and risk management spanning derivatives, portfolio risk, corporate finance, and software development. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and an M.S. in Computational Finance, and previously founded a quantitative finance and risk management consulting firm advising financial institutions, hedge funds, trading desks, and startups. At Counter, he will oversee financial strategy, risk frameworks, and fundraising as the company scales into new markets and institutional channels.
