Our story began with CEO and Co-founder Camron Brown. After being diagnosed with a chronic illness and facing a delayed 60+ day medical leave payment, he experienced firsthand the financial strain many Americans endure during urgent situations.
Determined to create a solution, Brown founded Counter in 2023.
In 2024, he partnered with 3x award-winning engineer and now CTO and Co-founder, Kaelaan Maynor. Together, they developed Counter—a custom platform designed to automate and expedite insurance claims, providing timely financial support.
